MOVEit on Azure Delivers Deployment Benefits, Flexibility of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Offering
ORLANDO, Fla. – Microsoft Ignite – Sept. 27, 2017 – Ipswitch®, the leader in easy to deploy, manage and use file transfer and network management software, is now offering its MOVEit® Managed File Transfer (MFT) solution through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. MOVEit on Azure enables customers to utilize Microsoft’s public cloud environment while maintaining complete control over the implementation of MOVEit MFT.

MOVEit on Azure is an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offering where the user hosts its MOVEit software within the Azure public cloud platform maintaining complete control over how MOVEit is installed, maintained and managed. With Azure, IT teams can control the geography where MOVEit is deployed to meet compliance needs and latency requirements. It also provides improved business IT agility with the ability to scale up or down as needed, paying only for cloud resources consumed as well as shifting the cost of hardware from capital expenses (CAPEX) to operational expenses (OPEX).
